KNOWING THE POWER OF YOUR WORDS AND HOW IT CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE
Introduction
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue...” Prov. 18:21 (NKJV)
“You are snared by the words of your mouth...” Prov. 6:2 (NKJV)
“For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” Matt. 12:37 (NKJV)
Many of Almighty God’s children have not known the authority God has given them nor the power of their words.
The enemy has deceived the world into believing words don’t really matter and are only used for communication.
Words were used to form this world.
Words are creative.
They are power.
They are life.
And they can even be death.
You will have what you speak. You have a choice to speak either life and blessing or death and cursing.
You can say things to change the situations in your own life and around the world by speaking the right words.
If you need healing, say that Jesus is your healer. He is Jehovah Rapha.
God has given you great revelation within the Bible—you see the outcomes for the people in the Bible who said what God needed them to say.
Earnestly remember, meditate, and reflect on the things God has done and said.
God is your Deliverer, Healer, Victory, Provider.
Speak God’s Names over your life and the situations you are in.
God’s character is reflected in His Names:
Alpha and Omega – Beginning and End
Elohim—The Creator
El Elyon – The Most High God
El Shaddai—The God with Whom Nothing is Impossible
Immanuel – God is with us
Jehovah Jireh – The Lord your Provider
Jehovah Nissi – The Lord your Banner of Victory
Jehovah Rapha – The Lord your Healer
BE PREPARED WITH THE WORD OF GOD
It’s imperative to hear the Word of God and the truth of Almighty God so you can stay focused on Him and not on the things around you. (2 Cor. 5:7)
There is nothing that surprises God (Isa. 46:10), and if you will listen, He gives you warnings.
There is a battle raging between good vs. evil.
The battle is not with man or flesh; it is a spiritual battle. (Eph. 6:12)
You are always to be prepared with the Word of God so you can fight the good fight of faith. (Eph. 6:15; 1 Tim. 6:12)
God says in His Word that you need to bind (Matt. 18:18), rebuke, forbid, resist (James 4:7), and push back the enemy using His Authority.
When you speak the Word of God, you are exercising your authority as a child of the Most High God (Gen. 1:28; Ps. 8:6; Matt. 28:18-20; Rom. 8:17) and getting yourself into agreement with Him.
It’s His power that does the work. It’s His power that is released when you speak His Words. (John 5:19, 14:10, 15:1, 4-5; Phil. 2:13)
God has given you all power, dominion, and authority over the enemy. (Luke 10:19)
He is telling you to use His power and Authority.
God has assignments for you. You have a part to play. (Isa. 43:1; Jer. 29:11; Acts 20:24; Eph. 1:11, 2:10)
Get with God in prayer, find out what He wants you to do, and act as His representative here on Earth. (Prov. 20:24; John 10:3; 2 Cor. 5:20)
The greatest way to victory is by praying and using the Word of God. (Eph. 6:17-18; Phil. 4:6-7)
God is doing a new thing. He is doing things in unconventional, unprecedented, and unusual ways.
God is an unlimited God.
VICTORY IN CHRIST JESUS
Have you ever wondered: When is God going to show up? Where? How?
God’s timing is always perfect. (Eccles. 3:11) He always fulfills His promises. (Num. 23:19; Isa. 55:11; Heb. 6:18)
You can trust Him. Don’t back off, don’t quit. (Ps. 33:4; Isa. 12:2; Matt. 6:26; 1 Cor. 1:9)
Press forward and lean into the Word of God.
When you spend time in the Word and prayer, you learn Who God really is, and you will know that what He says, He will do. If you know those things, then you will not be moved out of faith during difficult times.
TRUST IN GOD ALONE
God is working on your behalf.
Even when it doesn’t look like things are changing, put your trust in God alone because:
He will do what He says; (Isa. 38:7; 55:11; Heb. 6:18) and
He gives you strength, (Isa. 40:31; Neh. 8:10, Eph. 6:10 AMPC, Phil 4:13 AMPC) victory, and everything you need. (Isa. 40:29-31)
When you have a firm, focused foundation on the Father, you won’t be moved because of Whose you are and who you are in Christ. (John 17:13-17; Rom. 8:17; 2 Cor. 5:17; Gal. 4:4-7; Eph. 1:5; 1 John 3:1-2, 4:4)
Remember:
How big God is;
He is in control; (Ps. 22:28; Prov. 19:21; Jer. 10:23; Dan. 4:17, 2:21-22; Col. 1:17)
He is the Most High God; (Ps. 97; Rev. 22:13)
He is the Judge over all the Earth; (Gen. 18:25; Ps. 75:7)
He is the Author and finisher of your faith; (Heb. 12:2) and
you have a Covenant with Him. (Gen. 15—entire chapter, 17—entire chapter; Heb. 9:11-28; Luke 22:20)
You have a choice. As a child of God, you are to choose:
faith over fear;
to believe God;
to fight the good fight of faith; (1 Tim. 6:12) and
to hold on and not let go.
EL SHADDAI - ALMIGHTY GOD
Remind yourself every day that God wins! The enemy loses every single time.
God gives you the news before the news (if you are willing to spend time with Him, in His Word and in prayer):
to encourage you and lift up your faith, so you walk by faith and not by sight; (2 Cor. 5:7) and
to remind you that the things you see are temporal. (2 Cor. 4:18)
No matter what you are facing, it is not the end. God promises you victory. (2 Cor. 2:14)
Don’t give the enemy and his evil reports your attention.
Instead, give God your attention and focus.
Daily confess: This is a day the Lord has made; I will rejoice and be glad in it. (Ps. 118:24)
God has revelation for you; you just have to seek Him and ask Him. (1 Chron. 28:9; Matt. 6:33; James 1:5)
THEIR EXPIRATION DATE IS COMING DUE
You are here for such a time as this. (Est. 4:14)
Don’t pay attention to the negative and discouraging things in life.
The enemy wants you divided, defeated, feeling hopeless.
Don’t give attention to the negative and discouraging things in life.
Rather, count every day as a blessing.
Be thankful for the one, true God Who sent His Son.
God wins in everything.
Jehovah Nissi– the Lord, your banner and victory.
He causes you to win and leads you to triumphant victory. (2 Cor. 2:14)
Be glad and thankful:
for this is the day the Lord has made; (Ps. 118:24)
that Jesus won it all;
that with His sacrifice, the enemy has already been brought to nothing;
for the life you have; and
that Jesus stayed on the cross until it was finished for you.
Don’t let the enemy steal the Word out of your heart or break your firm, focused foundation on the Father.
Remind the enemy he has already lost.
Even though you might fall, Jesus is right there to pick you up. (Matt. 14:22-33)
Even in the midst of a fiery furnace (Dan. 3), Jesus shows up, and the fire has no power or effect.
The God you serve is bigger than all life’s circumstances, tests, and trials.
Regardless of what nation you live in, claim your nation for God.
The Kingdom of God is in you because the Greater One lives in you. (1 John 4:4)
Fight the good fight of faith. (1 Tim. 6:12)
Nothing is too big or impossible with God. (Luke 1:37; Matt. 19:26)
It doesn’t matter how things appear; you are to walk by faith and not by sight. (2 Cor. 5:7)
THINGS ARE NOT HOW THEY APPEAR TO BE IN YOUR GOVERNMENTS
This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalm 118:24)
No matter how the enemy wants you to feel, you have the right to say, "No!" because God wins.
Satan is a loser, and he loses every single time.
Don’t give in to the enemy. God won’t let you down.
YOUR ENEMIES DO NOT HAVE THE POWER TO TAKE YOUR FREEDOMS AWAY
Say every day, “God wins! Satan loses!”
In the fight of good versus evil, good (God) always wins.
Declare, “God wins in my life, my health, my family, my finances, and my nation. Greater is He Who lives in me than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4) If God is inside me and He always wins, then I always win because I am with God, and He is always with me. God, take every care in my life. I give it all to You because Your hands are big enough.”
Whatever area the devil is attacking you in, declare your victory.
Every day, put God first in your life.
Remind the enemy that God is alive and not dead, that He is a conqueror, and no one can defeat Him.
Understand that God gives you freedom freely and that Jesus Christ has already paid the price.
The enemy is trying to deceive you out of what has already been paid for.
Your freedoms are already guaranteed, and they are yours now.
Know the power and authority that belong to you because of what Jesus did for you on the cross.
The devil deceives, distracts, and destroys.
You are to have a firm, focused foundation on the Father.
Having a firm foundation in God prevents you from being deceived, distracted, and destroyed.
The truth will set you free. (John 8:32)
WHAT TO DO IN THIS TIME OF GREAT SHAKING
Psalm 91
When we see shakings and things intensify, God tells us to stand, fight the good fight of faith (1 Tim. 6:12), and have a firm, focused foundation on the Father so we will not be moved or afraid.
Do not fear. (Isa. 41:10, 13; Deut. 31:6; Gen. 50:21; Josh. 8:1; Matt. 10:26)
The enemy wants your attention on the problem(s).
Do not be distracted. Focus on God, and you won’t walk in fear.
THIS IS THE TIME I HAVE WARNED YOU ABOUT
Don’t magnify the problem. Magnify the Problem Solver. God is the One Who takes care of you.
We are to call in God’s explosive exposures. God will not be stopped. His plans will not be stopped. His Will and purpose will not be stopped.
The enemy is trying to deceive and distract so he can continue to destroy.
Don’t magnify the chaos.
What do you do in WAR?
you Worship And Resist, then
the Wicked Are Restricted.
Focus on God.
Don’t be distracted by what you see or hear.
Don’t be distracted by other people.
God always warns us, so do not fear. God’s warnings are to help us stand and stand, therefore.
Everything that can be shaken will be shaken. But with a firm, focused foundation on the Father, you will not be shaken.
Focus on God.
This is the time to celebrate and be unified as one Body of Christ.
IT’S TIME TO RESIST
No matter what things look like, keep standing, keep praying, and keep your focus on God.
Have a firm, focused foundation on the Father, and you will not be moved.
Get into the Word of God every day to learn the authority you have.
Use your authority against what the enemy is doing.
Ask God for help when you feel like you can’t stand or fight, when you don’t know how to pray or where to even start. He makes it simple.
God is absolutely good. He is your comforter, counselor, helper, intercessor, strengthener, teacher, advocate, standby, and provider. (John 14:16)
God can be trusted.
Get into the Word and learn more about Who God is to learn how to stand and not be moved.
Attacks from the enemy are going to come. It’s your choice as to how you respond:
You either give God the problem, the care, and the weight of the situation, or
You hold onto the problem, the care, and the weight of it.
Praise and worship stop the enemy.
Through all tests, trials, and circumstances, don’t quit. Trust the Lord and stand. He will give you the strength, ability, and endurance to keep going.
God can and will answer your prayer.
Focusing on God in the midst of trials reminds you of Who He is, what His promises are, and how He loves, cares, and provides for you.
KNOWING THE LORD AS YOUR SHEPHERD
Psalm 23
You do not need to fear because your God is awesome. He is greater and bigger than anything you are facing.
When things get chaotic and uneasy, you have to know the God you serve. Know Who He is and what you can expect Him to do.
God will perform His Word.
Get into the Word of God to find out Who He is.
FULFILLING YOUR KINGDOM MANDATE PART 2
Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word (Romans 10:17).
FULFILLING YOUR KINGDOM MANDATE PART 1
You have a Dominion (Kingdom) Mandate as a child of the Most High God.
The word ‘mandate’ means something you have to obey.
A GREAT STORM IS COMING
God will have the final say.
Know that God is the One Who is bigger and stronger (than everything and anything).
God is all knowing. He knows the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10).
He has and is victory, and nothing the enemy does will stop the Will or plan of God.
Remember the God you serve- the God from the Bible Who always saves His children.
With God, nothing is impossible (Matthew 19:26).
The Bible (the Word of God) is God’s Will.
To get rid of fear, get into God’s Word and learn Who He is.
When you get into God’s Word, you will learn Who He is and His Will. Then you won’t wonder if He can or will. You will know that He can and He will.
God will save.
God is faithful to perform His Word (Hebrews 10:23).
LEARNING HOW TO STAND
The biblical definition of the word ‘stand’ is to not bow down, give in, or be persuaded to do anything contrary to God’s Will.
WHAT IS FAITH
Romans 10:17
You increase your faith by hearing His Word. You can’t pray for more faith.
Get into the Word of God as much as you possibly can.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God.
Renew your mind with the Word of God (Romans 12:2). You can hear the same scripture again and again and still discover something new about it. God’s Word is inexhaustible.
God’s Word is living. God’s Word is power. God’s Word is life.
Read the Word of God for yourself.
God wants you to have a close walk and relationship with Him. And then, when tough times come, you can trust in, lean on, and rely on Him more than anything else you see or hear.
THE POWER OF WORDS
God’s Words are part of your authority.
God’s Words are another weapon against your enemy.
You can change the circumstances in your life with words.
Words matter. Words are more important than you realize.
God has delegated authority here on Earth to you. Your words have authority to create every time you speak, not just when you pray. When you speak positive words in prayer but negative words the rest of the time, your negative words will prevail.
THE SOLUTION AND THE ANSWER TO THE CHAOS PART 2
Know the authority you have in Jesus Christ. His Name is above every name.
You have the Blood Covenant (Genesis 15).
God’s blessing is an empowerment for you to prosper, succeed, excel, increase, and rise above all that would try to keep you down.
The Word of God is a massively damaging weapon to the enemy.
God is the solution in all situations. He is victory. He is the key to victory.
We have to know what the enemy is doing so we can shout God’s decrees and declarations against him.
THE SOLUTION AND THE ANSWER TO THE CHAOS PART 1
The keys to victory in the midst of adversity are God’s blessing and favor.
What is God’s blessing?
What is God’s favor?
God equips you. You are a heavily armed soldier in the army of the Lord.
You are loved by the Creator of Heaven and Earth. He has handpicked you for this moment in time. You have a purpose, and He has an assignment for you. Ask God to show you your destiny.
He has given you special gifts and talents in order for you to fulfill that calling He has put on your life.
God knows the end from the beginning, so trust and lean on Him.
Prayer is a back-and-forth conversation with God. When you ask God to open your spiritual ears, it is a still small voice in your spirit.
God’s Word is the ultimate source of truth.
