VICTORY IN CHRIST JESUS
Date Teaching Given: January 5, 2024
Have you ever wondered: When is God going to show up? Where? How?
God’s timing is always perfect. (Eccles. 3:11) He always fulfills His promises. (Num. 23:19; Isa. 55:11; Heb. 6:18)
You can trust Him. Don’t back off, don’t quit. (Ps. 33:4; Isa. 12:2; Matt. 6:26; 1 Cor. 1:9)
Press forward and lean into the Word of God.
When you spend time in the Word and prayer, you learn Who God really is, and you will know that what He says, He will do. If you know those things, then you will not be moved out of faith during difficult times.
Exodus 8:1
God said, “Let My People Go” repeatedly to Pharoah so His people would be able to freely and fully serve Him.
The Israelites couldn’t fully serve God while in bodily slavery, mental bondage and financial oppression.
Before the Israelites left Egypt, God:
Gave them retroactive restoration in one day - He went backwards and returned to them everything that had been stolen during their 425 years of slavery.
Freed them from everything, in every area (spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, financially) and they had no feeble among them. (Ps. 105:37)
Feeble definition: lacking in physical or mental strength
If you’re lacking in anything, get into the Word of God.
Lack is part of the curse, and Jesus redeemed you from the curse (Gal. 3:13-14)
You should lack for nothing (health, a sound mind, peace, finances, or joy). (Ps. 34:10; Neh. 8:10)
Your enemy wants you weak and sick, but scripture says, “Let the weak say I am strong.” (Joel 3:10)
God wants you completely free and whole – spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and financially.
God is in the business of saving, freeing, and delivering nations, governments, and people.
God is absolutely good.
God is telling you to stand, fight, resist, and push back on the enemy (1 Tim. 6:12; 2 Tim. 4:7)
If you quit, you have a 100% chance of losing. If you fall, get back up.
For as long as you are here on this earth Satan will never stop, but the reward is great for those who don’t quit. (1 Peter 1:9)
Don’t let Satan deceive you out of what is already rightfully yours.
Take back what is rightfully yours by getting into the Word of God and knowing what His Word says and what belongs to you:
From the beginning, God’s design was for man to have complete authority. (Gen. 1:26-28)
We were never supposed to be ruled and reigned over by wicked people and governments. God was to be our Lord and King. (1 Sam. 8:5, 22)
Adam once had all the power but then lost it. Jesus got back the power Adam lost, and then Jesus gave the keys to death, hell, and the grave to you. (Matt. 16:19, 18:18; Heb. 2:14; Rev. 1:18)
Ask God “What do You need me to know? What is the revelation You want me to have?”
2 Corinthians 5:7
Things are not how they appear. Believe and trust more in God than what you’re seeing and hearing.
It’s never over until you win. (2 Cor. 2:14)
Job realized the power of right words and asked God to teach him to hold his tongue. (Job 6:24)
Your words have power. You can change the course of your life by what you choose to think, speak, and believe.
Get yourself into alignment with God by speaking right words – His Words.
Don’t say what you have (lack, sickness, anxiety, etc.).
Speak the outcome you want and speak your need fulfilled (bills paid on time, a healthy body now, a peaceful marriage now, long life, restoration now). (Rom. 4:17)
Continually speak and declare the Word of God (Job 22:28) and then walk by faith.
Change your perspective and your way of thinking. (Isa. 55:8)
Don’t see yourself as broken, sick, unhealthy, or depressed.
Don’t think of yourself as worthless, a failure, or a quitter.
See and think of yourself as victorious, triumphant, a conqueror, an overcomer. (Prov. 23:7; Hab. 3:18-19; Rom. 8:37; 2 Cor. 2:14; Phil. 4:13; 1 John 5:4)
Don’t relate to and identify with the lies of the enemy over God’s truth and His Word.
The choice is yours:
Believe God’s report or the enemy’s report.
Accept life and blessings or death and curses. (Deut. 30:19; Prov. 18:21; James 3:10)
God says, “By Jesus’ stripes you are healed.” (Isa. 53:5)
God is your healer-He is Jehovah Rapha. (Ex. 15:26)
Awaken to the truth that healing, life, and freedom are yours now.
Choose God, His Word, His Will, and His Truth. Follow Him. Then no matter what is going on, you’ll be like the Israelites in Goshen and will not be affected by your situation or circumstances. (Ex. 9:26)
1 John 5:1, 4-5
If you accept and believe Jesus Christ is Messiah, then you are a born-again child of God and a new creation in Christ Jesus.
Your place in God’s family means you are a world overcomer. Your faith, trust, and reliance on God makes you an overcomer.
John 16:33
God loves and cares you. (Ps. 139:13; Isa. 43:1, 53:5; John 10:2-5, 7)
God’s heart is for you:
He desires you to be totally free in every area of your life. (John 8:36)
He wants you to freely serve Him. (Ex. 9:1)
He sent Jesus to pay the price for your sins. (Matt. 27:1-54)
He gave you a Blood Covenant through Christ’s crucifixion. (Gen. 15 (entire chapter), 17 (entire chapter); Heb. 9:11-28; Luke 22:20)
He gave you the right to use the highest, most powerful, and authoritative name - Jesus. (Phil. 2:8-11)
Have you made Him Lord over your life?
You make Him Lord over your life by:
Making Him your first priority.
Submitting to Him.
Getting into alignment with His Will.
Walking in love. (Matt. 22:37-39)
Including Him in all things.
John 15:19, 17:13-17
You are in this world, but not of it.
As a child of the Most High God, you should:
Be untouchable because of Whose you are and who you are in Christ. (Rom. 8:17; 2 Cor. 5:17; Gal. 4:4-7; Eph. 1:5; 1 John 3:1-2, 4:4)
Have the power of Almighty God resonating in your life and through you.
Have control over the atmosphere everywhere you go. (Josh. 1:3; 1 Cor. 6:19; James 4:7)
As a child of the Most High God and a citizen of Heaven, you have the right to exercise that power and authority over your state, country, world, and every test and trial.
God desires you to be a warrior in the Army of God, to be strong, to be far above the adversary. (Deut. 28:13; Rom. 8:31)
The battle is not against people. It’s against the demonic forces behind them. (Eph. 6:12)
God has already given you the power and authority over all the evil forces and to take back territory. (Luke 10:19)
No matter the situation, God is the solution. He is the answer.
Colossians 1:13
God is your Abba (Father) and the Good Shepherd. Like a parent comforts their child or a shepherd protects his flock, God has drawn you out of darkness and brought you into His safe keeping.
Christ has already delivered you from bondage and sin, so don’t return to it, and don’t be controlled by it.
There is no need to worry. God is in control. He is not your enemy. (Prov. 19:21; Jer. 10:23, 29:11; Phil. 4:6-7)
God needs you fully awake, so you can fully receive what He is doing and to not be deceived by the enemy.
God needs the entire Body of Christ to wake up and get in alignment with Him. (Ps. 57:8; Hos. 4:6; Eph. 5:14-17)
Jesus is the head, and you are part of the body. (1 Cor. 12:12-13, 27; Col. 1:18)
Satan’s doing what he can to stop the alignment of the Body of Christ because he cannot contend with a united Church. (Deut. 32:30; Lev. 26:8)
The enemy comes to deceive, distract, and destroy. (John 10:10)
Satan wants you to be deceived, distracted, and asleep so you won’t resist him or exercise your authority against him, and be easy to defeat.
God is your light in the midst of darkness. (Ex. 10:23) He leads you where to go so you don’t slip and fall and participate in the darkness. (Ps. 91:1-16)
Even if things look discouraging, God is telling you to hold on because it’s always darkest before the dawn. So don’t turn back, quit, or give up.
God’s Words are still at work today, and He is still the same God that delivered Israel. (Isa. 55:11, Heb. 13:8)
Stay with God. Stay fully awake and don’t give up on Him because God will not give up on you.
No matter how things look or what happens, trust in God more.
God has given you the ability and strength to keep going and say, “I can.” (Phil. 4:11-13)
His Word is life, (John 6:63) power, and truth. It’s the only truth that will set you free. (John 8:32)
God is life, and life always wins. God always wins.
You will always succeed because He is on your side. (Ps. 56:9, 118:6)
Call in life and healing and believe the Word of God more than any situation.
Receive your victory, miracle, and healing.
Start praising God. Start thanking Him. (1 Thess. 5:18)
If you have a firm, focused foundation on the Father, you will not lose or be moved.
