THEIR EXPIRATION DATE IS COMING DUE
Date Teaching Given: November 22, 2023
You are here for such a time as this. (Est. 4:14)
Don’t pay attention to the negative and discouraging things in life.
The enemy wants you divided, defeated, feeling hopeless.
Don’t give attention to the negative and discouraging things in life.
Rather, count every day as a blessing.
Be thankful for the one, true God Who sent His Son.
God wins in everything.
Jehovah Nissi– the Lord, your banner and victory.
He causes you to win and leads you to triumphant victory. (2 Cor. 2:14)
Be glad and thankful:
for this is the day the Lord has made; (Ps. 118:24)
that Jesus won it all;
that with His sacrifice, the enemy has already been brought to nothing;
for the life you have; and
that Jesus stayed on the cross until it was finished for you.
Don’t let the enemy steal the Word out of your heart or break your firm, focused foundation on the Father.
Remind the enemy he has already lost.
Even though you might fall, Jesus is right there to pick you up. (Matt. 14:22-33)
Even in the midst of a fiery furnace (Dan. 3), Jesus shows up, and the fire has no power or effect.
The God you serve is bigger than all life’s circumstances, tests, and trials.
Regardless of what nation you live in, claim your nation for God.
The Kingdom of God is in you because the Greater One lives in you. (1 John 4:4)
Fight the good fight of faith. (1 Tim. 6:12)
Nothing is too big or impossible with God. (Luke 1:37; Matt. 19:26)
It doesn’t matter how things appear; you are to walk by faith and not by sight. (2 Cor. 5:7)
Know how to fight the good fight of faith that you are called to (1. Tim 6:12)
It is a season of warfare right now.
This is a time to take back territory, not to give in or quit.
It is each Christian’s responsibility to fight spiritually.
Fight with the Word of God and His strength and ability. (Ps. 18:39)
God gives you the ability to do anything and everything He asks.
Even though you can’t see God, He is always there.
Don’t take your eyes off God, even in the midst of the storm (discouragement, tests, and trials).
Don’t focus on the circumstance.
Look to the Lord; keep your eyes on Jesus. (Matt. 14:25-31)
God is the author and finisher of your faith. (Heb. 12:2)
God fights your battles for you.
You are supposed to fight with joy (Neh. 8:10) and peace (Phil. 4:4-7), knowing the battle has already been won.
You fight by being in agreement with Almighty God.
Remember, that despite how big the giants in your life seem, you have the Greater One on the inside of you. (1 John 4:4)
David wasn’t afraid or discouraged by Goliath.
David ran toward Goliath because David knew the covenant he had with God Almighty, that the battle was the Lord’s (1 Sam. 17:47), and that he could rely on and trust in the Lord. (Prov. 3:5-6)
David knew he could defeat the giant through God’s ability. (Phil. 4:13)
God is faithful to all His children in the same way He was faithful to David.
Your responsibility as His child is to fight spiritually without giving up and quitting.
God is your comforter. He gives you peace and rest.
Don’t give up the freedoms Jesus already paid for.
His sacrifice was the highest price that could be paid.
Don’t let the enemy steal them from you.
No power the enemy possesses can overcome the Blood of Christ. (Matt. 26:28; Luke 10:19, 22:20; John 1:7; Heb. 9:11-28, 10:22)
Wait on the Lord because He will not fail. (Josh. 21:45; Ps. 27:14; Zeph. 3:5)
Look at Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego (Dan. 3) or the Israelites at Jericho. (Josh. 6:1-21)
God is no respecter of persons. (Acts 10:34)
God always causes you to win, so do not be discouraged. (2 Cor. 2:14)
How to Fight Spiritually
1 Tim. 6:12
You are summoned to fight the good fight of faith.
Summoned means an order to appear before a judge; authoritatively or urgently call on someone to be present, especially as a defendant or witness in a court of law.
You are summoned (urgently called) by the Lord.
You’re urgently called because the battle has already been won; the victory is already yours.
So now, it is your responsibility to stand and fight for that which is already yours.
Do not be deceived out of what already belongs to you (your freedom, liberty, health, sound mind, family, and children) like Adam and Eve were. (Gen. 3)
Adam already had the authority. He could have cast Satan out of the Garden, but instead, he was deceived by him.
The 7 Mountains of Influence already belong to the Lord.
The Earth has been given to the children of men. (Ps. 115:16)
He gave His children all power, authority, and dominion. (Luke 10:19)
The enemy doesn’t have the power to take away anything that’s been given to you by God.
The enemy comes to deceive, distract, and destroy you.
Your battles first start in the spiritual realm. (Eph. 6:12)
2 Cor. 10:3-4
God has been telling His children to stand, hold the line, be a line of defense, and WAR (Worship And Resist, then the Wicked Are Restricted).
Human weapons only go so far, even nuclear bombs.
God’s weapons are stronger and mightier than any human weapon.
Human weapons are natural, but God is supernatural.
God’s spiritual weapons bring down strongholds.
The most destructive weapon is the sword of the Spirit (Eph. 6:17), the Word of God, the Name of Jesus, and the Blood of Jesus. (Matt. 26:28; Luke 22:20; John 1:7; Heb. 9:11-28, 10:22)
God is faithful to perform His Word. (Jer. 1:12)
The Word of God sets you free. (John 8:32)
You war spiritually and stand and resist the enemy with the Word of God.
Using the Word of God causes mass destruction to your enemy. (James 4:7)
Things change in the unseen first.
2 Cor. 4:16-18
The enemy brings fear. Fear destroys.
No matter what the enemy brings, the Name of Jesus is above every name. (Phil. 2:9-10)
Your inner man (your spirit) grows stronger when you spend time with the Lord in prayer and read His Word.
What you are going through right now will not last forever; the tests and trials have an expiration date.
You are on the winning side – God’s side.
2 Chron. 20:2-4, 6-8, 11-12, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24-25
These scriptures are examples of how you war spiritually.
In these scriptures, a great multitude is used to bring fear and get the people to give up.
We have a great multitude against us now.
The enemy tries to make it look like you’re losing, so you give up and give in.
Don’t believe the enemy’s report.
Seek the Lord in times of trouble.
God removes the enemies from before His people.
God hears your cries, and He will save you. (Ps. 145:19)
Keep your focus on God in all circumstances and situations; remind yourself Who God is.
You can do nothing without God. It is in His Name and with His ability, strength, and power that you are able. (John 15:5)
God doesn’t ask you to do things on your own.
The battle belongs to the Lord. (Deut. 20:4)
God is with you wherever you go, so do not fear.
Fear makes you weary; fear takes away your strength.
If you don’t trust in God, you won’t have His joy, and the joy of the Lord is your strength. (Neh. 8:10)
Fear destroys faith.
God always warns His people. (Amos 3:7)
God doesn’t leave His people hopeless and without encouragement.
Praise is a weapon. (Ps. 9:1-3; 34:1; 149:5-6; Acts 16:25-34)
When we praise and worship, God sets up ambushes for the enemy, and the enemy is defeated.
Praise and worship regardless of how you feel.
Feelings will try to deceive you out of something God is doing for you.
WAR – when you Worship And Resist, then the Wicked Are Restricted.
God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Heb. 13:8)
If He did it once, He’ll do it again
You have an even greater covenant.
The victorious in war always get the spoils.
God always wins.
He has promised to restore everything that has been stolen.
Hebrews 10:23-24, 30, 35-36
To “hold fast” means to remain tightly secured.
Hold fast to the Word of God, your victory, the promises of God, and the authority given to you by God.
Seize means to take hold of suddenly and forcibly.
We need to stand, hold fast, and seize the fact that God is the Great I AM, the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and End. (Ex. 3:14; Rev. 22:13)
God wants us to be able to serve Him without fear, pain, affliction, poverty, or lack.
Compensation is something, typically money, awarded to someone as a recompense for loss, injury, or suffering.
Retribution is punishment afflicted on someone (imposed) as vengeance or repayment for a wrongful or criminal act.
God’s promises are compensation, reward, and restoration of things stolen. They are freedom and liberty. They tell us we don’t have to put up with what we see forever.
