Why do we praise our Heavenly Father?

WHY PRAISE?

This uncertainty is in the hearts of many people around the world. Individuals going through trying times don't understand the importance of praising God when hell breaks loose and wreaks havoc in their lives.

HEB. 13:15 Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name. (NIV)

We don't praise God because of the storm; we praise Him for taking us victoriously through it.

When we make a decision to praise God and believe Him more than our circumstances, it paves the way for God to destroy our enemy. If you look in the Word of God, when His people were fighting battles, there were praisers on the front lines. Why? Because of the praise, their enemies scattered before God's people, and they had victory.

Praise destroys your enemies' power over you and rattles the gates of hell. Praise breaks chains and opens up prison doors. It brings joy and peace where there was none.

Psalm 100:4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. (NIV)

Praise overcomes! Your enemy will try to do anything he can to make you feel this is not important, but this is the key to your victory.

We praise God because of His love and His goodness. He gave us everything we needed when He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. We praise Him because He gave us Life and desires us to live with Him for all eternity.

We praise Him because He destroyed the curse and our enemies' power over us. We praise Him because He is the waymaker, and there is nothing impossible for Him. He is our Light, Life, Savior, Victory, Healer, Redeemer, Comforter, Prince of Peace and Provider.

He knew everything your enemy would do to try to destroy you but made a way for you to overcome every time. We praise Him because He is undefeated, and He is on our side. He is our Father, and He loves us all. Through everything, we praise His Holy Name.
